We have just determined that if you can't find a raunchy on facebook, you can find them on myspace. haha It was extremely amusing.
Well I'm back from break and I'm happy to be back. Today went really fast and I just realized that I have to sign up for classes for next year tomorrow! Crazy.
As I was walking home from class, I saw something that called to me. It said initial me! Leave your footprint, a hand print! What will be your legacy?
Yep. It was a HUGE patch of brand new cement... I didn't listen to the calling. I wish I had. It would have been awesome to walk by that everyday and think. Yep. I'm awesome. Now I will walk by and think Yep. I'm a coward. So sad. Till later!

Spring Break
So, I am sitting in Caribou just hanging out and stuff because no one else has spring break this week. I have found things to do though like drink coffee and work and watch grass grow....
No but seriously it has been a pretty good spring break. I got to go to dinner with S and Galanis last night and then Galanis and I watched Saving Silverman. I have never seen it before...quite good! Then today I got to go to lunch with Matt! I love him and it made me kind of miss musical.
Worked at 4:30am today.... WOOT!
I can't stand people who waste your time. My mom this morning (love her btw) didn't come on time to pick me up and then proceeded to go run other errands when it was clearly her fault that I was going to be late. I just think that time is the thing that people have the least of. The least each one of us can do for each other is respect their time. I think our world would be a better place.
Alright. Have you ever been listening to a song and really payed attention to when the singer breathes/the sound of their breathing? You should listen for it. It will drive you nuts and for a few days, that's all you'll be able to hear. Like I just listened to "They Weren't There" by Missy Higgins and she takes these INTENSE breaths in between some of her phrases. It makes me totally understand why choir teachers emphasize the "silent breathe" and scattered breathing. It would sound SO much better.
Now I think I'm going to study for Bio. That sounds like a good idea. *Sigh*

Where does the time go? I wrote a draft for my next post a week ago with the intent of finishing it but now it's been a week since I did that and I am JUST now blogging. How sad.
Well I guess two weeks ago this Friday, I had family dinner! No, not with my biological family, with my real family (haha jk mom and dad!). It was really fun. Katie made a delicious pasta with angel hair pasta, garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. I will definitely be hiring her if I ever have to cook for an army because we had SO much pasta that we ate (and there were 11 of us) and we still had like 3/4 of the food left.
Then that week Sunday, the Cornerstone worship band played at Grace Church. That was pretty cool. We ate outside because it was warm (enough...) out! YAY! This past week has been gorgeous outside and I have been able to ACTUALLY see the blue color of the sky. So awesome.
I guess I will just jump to Friday. I got to go see Katie in her Everyone's a Little Bit Diva cabaret. It was hilarious and a lot of fun. Then I woke up yesterday and headed home for Spring Break. I already want to go back to school haha. Oh well. Hopefully there will be some exciting things about this week that will happen. Until later!

I wish I had a clever title!
Once upon a time,
Kristin had math homework that she ignored... haha! That was the story of my day yesterday, blowing off homework. That just means that today I have a lot to get done, especially since I have a speech due on Friday... Maybe I should start that.
Anyway, God is so clever. He has such crazy ways of teaching us. I have been stressing about the fact that I hadn't been accepted to LT yet and everyone else (even people who applied way later than I did) were being accepted. I was kind of frustrated because then I didn't know what was going to happen this summer and it was just confusing because I really felt like God wanted me to go to LT. Finally, I just couldn't worry any longer and I put my full trust in God that he would put me where he needed me the most this summer and yep, you guessed it! I got an e-mail last night saying that I had been accepted into the LT program. So that means two things. I am SO excited to see how I am going to grow with God and the other people around me and I'm going to be in Colorado for the summer! That's nuts! I am beyond excited.
One of my friends is struggling with the fact that her and her boyfriend are not at the same place spiritually. I totally get it. It's tough when you really care about someone and have invested a lot into that person and suddenly, you are not on the same page. It's probably one of the hardest decisions a person will have to make. It just sucks because you want to stay with that person and "change" them through your relationship but that's not how it's supposed to work. Both of you have to be whole on your own before you can have a relationship. Even more important, one of my friends said this and I love it, "You should be praising God by loving that person" That is an amazing concept. Absolutely incredible. There's a great quote that says "A girl should be so lost in God that a man needs to seek Him in order to find her." That's what I want. I'm not going to compromise because I know that is what God wants for me, a fully fulfilling relationship with one person that I can be myself with. And through that relationship, we can praise God! Sweet! I'm so excited for when I know for sure who this person is!
Well. That's all I have for now. Small group is tonight so I'm sure I will have a lot to talk about after that!
Later!

Time after time. I tell myself.....
I've got nothing to lose!!
That's right people, Glenbrook South's epic variety show was this past weekend and I got to go home for it! Super fun. My friend August came with me so it was cool to have someone from my new home see what my old home was like.
I don't really know what to say. It's been over a month since I have last wrote and yet it feels like an eternity because of everything that has happened.
I guess to sum it up. My life has become more complicated and less complicated all in the same month.
The biggest decision in my life in the past month as been deciding to go to LT this summer. LT stands for Leadership Training. If I go, I will be living at the YMCA in Estes National Park from May 23rd to August 14th and learning about how to become a better Christ-follower and leader in his name. I am SO excited, but I have not been accepted yet. At first I was kind of concerned but whatever God's plan for me over the summer is is HIS plan so I'm not too worried about it.
I also auditioned for the Music Education program two weeks ago. I still haven't received a letter for that but once again.. God's plan. Whatever that looks like.
OH OH OH OH!
I decided to sponsor a second child from Compassion. Her name is Lilian and she is beautiful! She is nine years old and loves to sing. It was quite an awesome story how I decided to support her but you can just ask me and I'll tell you cuz it's kind of long. I also got a letter from Zahara for the first time last week. She is so precious. She drew me a picture and everything. I wrote them letters back and I am looking forward to more letters from the girls in the future.
Well then...I had more to say than I thought. I won't promise I will write more often but I'll sure try!
Later!

.....
First week done almost! Then a three day weekend! super great
First of all, misunderstandings suck and I hate them
Second of all, dear boy on the other side of the lounge, I know you're kissing that girl's neck. Stop trying to hide it before I come over and pry you two apart...
Third of all!!! I LOVE LIFE! soo great. I think I have been getting too much sleep if that's possible because I have been really tired when all break I was only getting like 5 to 6 hours of sleep. So as you can see, I'm staying up later than usual! haha.
Classes are going really really well! I love them and all of my professors! My phone is not working. I can't send or receive text messages which sucks because it's my main source of communication. UGH! Oh well. I guess I will update later and more often! YAY! :)

Second Semester!?
I cannot believe it's already second semester! This is crazy!
Alright, yesterday I got into ISU and was totally dreading moving all of the stuff into my room. It really didn't take as long as I expected but I was up till 4am doing last minute cleaning and such. Totally worth it.
Last night, Breanna, Josh, Katie and I went to Friday's to get some dinner. Such a good idea and then of course we went to Walmart!
Katie and I needed a few items but then we spent most of our time in the toy section deciding what we would get. We decided on play-doh!!! super excited.... I was also looking for this game called Imaginif that Robby has but they didn't have it! oh well, I still brought back Mad Gab and Monopoly for some epic Friday night fun! haha
Even though I went to bed at 4, I woke up this morning at 8am on my own. I don't understand myself sometimes. Either way, I got my books and I have practically zero. Okay, I have 4 books but that's not that many. I don't know what I'm gonna have a ton of free time! (don't tell my parents). I mean.... I will study everyday all day because my parent's hard earned money is being used wisely. ha Well. I'm off to help Megan unpack. LATER!
